2. How can coaching help me?

We don't come ready-made with all the skills we need. Once you recognize the gaps or identify a goal you wish to achieve, it might be worth seeking professional support. A coach provides space and structure for the reflection that is necessary for learning and growth. Coaching helps you explore your beliefs, thoughts and behaviors. It helps you identify your strengths and weaknesses, clarify your values and develop a plan to achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life.

3. Is coaching different from therapy or counseling?

Therapists are trained to treat mental illness or other major emotional and relational problem. Counseling is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on understanding, resolving and healing emotional trauma and pain carried through from the past. Both therapy and counseling help individuals look in the past in order to overcome deep-rooted issues, whereas coaches are there to help you create a launching point in the present to succeed in the future. A coach will work with you to help improve your quality of life by setting and achieving goals in both personal and professional aspects.

4. How do I know if I need coaching?

If you're feeling lost in your to-do list, unable to focus and challenged in making a plan of attack on how to get things done, a coach can help you sort priorities and get focused, allowing you to feel more in control. When you're trying to figure out your career path, you might find yourself struggling with questions about what you want to achieve, what impact you want to make in the world, where to start and how you'll get there. This is where a coach can be helpful. Most importantly, you must be ready to put in the effort if you want real, lasting change. Coaching isn't a magic pill or overnight process.

6. What can I expect during a coaching session?

In the introduction session we'll meet each other for the first time, we'll establish whether coaching is the right thing for you, your readiness for coaching and whether we are the best coach for you. The outcome of the introduction session might be that we are not the best coach we can be to you, and we can direct you to someone who can serve you better. Assuming that we agreed to work together, the first coaching session is all about clarifying how we will work together, what commitments are expected from both sides and address issues of confidentiality, communication, . This first session is crucial in forming the foundation of a relationship where there is trust and respect on both sides. The follow-up sessions will be about establishing the goals of coaching, setting up a coaching session plan, tracking progress and small wins and working together to achieve your objectives.

7. For how long will I receive coaching?

The length of a coaching program are usually 3, 6 or 12 months. Minimum length of coaching plan is 3 months. Any less than that makes it difficult to achieve a meaningful outcome and you might not see the value of continuing. Shorter programs are common for business, executive, career and corporate coaching. For individual coaching the program can be longer, but never more than 12 months. Within 6 months is very likely for you to experience a specific outcome or have reached the personal growth you aimed for. In the end, your objective is what determine the length of our relationship.

8. How often will I have a coaching session?

The frequency of coaching sessions depends on your goals, your personal availability, intensity and length of the program. If we're helping you actively manage your career or business goals, we will meet frequently. You'll want encouragement, strategizing, problem-solving and accountability. If you're overwhelmed, going through a transition, dealing with a major conflict, you might also appreciate having the frequent support of a coach. In these cases a weekly or bi-weekly session makes sense. On the other hand, if what is required involves deep thinking about yourself and life, you might not need or even want such frequent sessions. These questions need time to settle in your system. Answers need time to bubble up naturally. Several weeks between sessions can give your system a chance to let the questions simmer in the background until they're ready.

9. Can coaching be done remotely or online?

Yes. Online coaching can be as effective as in-person. When you meet in person, you are worried about how you dress, how you look and a million other things that are pure distractions. Most of our clients prefer remote coaching because they make better progress. We can connect with you through video calls, messaging and other online platforms, allowing for effective communication and support. The effectiveness of remote coaching can depend on various factors such as your comfort with technology and the nature of the coaching relationship. Some coaching may benefit from in-person interaction, but remote coaching is highly effective for most.

10. How much does coaching cost?

The fees for our coaching services depends on the type of service and complexity of each case. A basic personal coaching program might cost less than an in-depth business coaching program. Additionally the length and frequency of sessions, or in-person vs online can also influence the price. For one-to-one programs, s short career coaching program costs around €150 a month while a longer personal development program can reach €500 per month.
